The NDIS provides funding to eligible people with disabilities so they can spend more time with family and friends, achieve greater independence, access new skills, jobs, or volunteering opportunities in their community, and improve their quality of life.
The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is a new way of providing support for Australians with a permanent and significant disability, as well as their families and carers. If you have a disability that affects how you take part in daily activities and you acquired your disability before the age of 65, the NDIS is for you. The NDIS is designed to give choice and control to you, the person with a disability.
We have skilled staff who can guide you through the application process and support you in making appropriate decisions about managing your plan.
Support to Apply: We will help you complete your NDIS application.
We will link you to a health professional together with information for your application.
The information and evidence you provide in your application will help us develop your
first NDIS plan.
We will remain and work with you through your plan.
Specialist/ Support Coordination:
We provide specialist support coordination, a higher level of support coordination for NDIS participants with more complex needs or who are in a crisis situation. A specialist support coordinator is a qualified social worker who can help participants reduce the complexity of their support environment and overcome any barriers or risks that might affect their plan implementation. A specialist support coordinator can also assist the participant in dealing with other agencies, such as the justice system or child protection services. Our support strategies are beyond NDIS coordination. We build rapport and focus on participant strength.
